What We Do

ABBR is a small group of individuals  that takes in needy hounds from a shelter facility and also animals that the owner has discovered they can no longer care for. 

Although our main location is in Scottsboro, AL we have volunteers all over the state of Alabama which enables us to adopt our dogs easily to the southeast and to locations all over the U.S. with assistance from others.  You can make arrangements to visit any of our hounds by contacting the foster home of that hound.

Each animal will receive immediate medical care, including spay and neuter and then once released from the clinic be placed in an approved foster home throughout the state of Alabama.
